A purpose-built settling tank 3.0m x 2.4m x 1.8m high c/w internal baffles used to remove sand/silts and for the treatment of heavy metals sometimes present in recovered ground water.

PSA are able to take water samples, have them analysed at a NATA accredited laboratory c/w a written report. We then treat the contaminated water by adding chemicals into the dewatering manifold (under vacuum) where they enter the tank via the pump where they are also mixed.

Heavy metals are precipitated into the tank, sinking to the bottom and the clean treated water may then be discharges into the storm water providing it meets other EPA criteria.

BBA PT 90 Silenced wellpoint pump is shown above. These single cylinder piston pumps are capable of pumping over 20 Litres per second and develop their own vacuum (negative pressure) by virtue of their design.

The pump shown above is a Selwood Rapid response D 150R Trailer pump. Capable of 320m³ per hour (88 l/s) Max flow and 29m Max head. We stock sufficient 150mm hosing and fittings for most applications.

SEWER BYPASS PRE-FILTER – The Pre-filter is fitted into the suction lines of one or two pumps. Effluent passes through the PVC suction strainer into the centre of the main strainer, through the strainer and exits through one or two of the outlets and into the suction inlets of one or two pumps.
